Included are "Speakeasies, Cab Joints, The Great White Way, Harlem, Greenwich Village, Luxury and Foreign Restaurants, Chop Suey with Dancing, Chop Suey without Dancing, Roadhouses" et al. Designed and illustrated by Raymond Bret-Koch, including boards, dust jacket, end papers and line vignettes. Laminated black boards with gorgeous art deco lettering and inlay. Inscribed as a gift on front fly-leaf; occasional (very few) lightly penciled marginal notes, otherwise clean and bright. There is a very small chip at the right corner of the front fly leaf but the chip is present and can be easily repaired. Withal, near fine condition by any measure. The dust jacket is present and in very good + condition with only minor toning, very slight edge wear, price clip. 8vo, [vi], 182, [6]. A particularly gorgeous copy of a beloved work.
