Fine 1878 Surveyor's Telescopic Solar Compass, Rare Complete
A fine pre-1878 American Solar Compass complete with case an original cased telescopic attachement that appears to date from the 1880s. The solar compass is complete with adjusting accessories and a plumb bob. The instrument retains a majority of the original finish and is in excellent condition. There is no tripod.
